The cards should be randomized in multiplayer. These developers are terrible if this is what they’re putting out. Because of this, I’ve gone ahead and changed my name in-game to “This is a Bad App” in hopes of getting people to leave bad reviews as well. Nearly every hand has at least three nines and tens. Update: Since I’ve left this bad review, the hands have gone from bad to worse. I've also seen my "partner" call a suit when they have none of it, as if the game is purposely thrown. It's becoming so predictable that I can tell based on what I have on my hands what's going to be called if I and my "partner" pass, sometimes turning the game into strictly defensive mode. Finally, the AI will make incredibly risky decisions, decisions that I haven't seen at the table ever. Unless you want to make your partner hate you. And sorry, but if I'm on medium difficulty and the opponent GOES ALONE three times during one game, that's not realistic and it wouldn't happen on the table in real life. I feel like if you increase the difficulty to hard, the deck is always stacked the AI's favor. As a developer you could either increase the difficulty by stacking the deck in the AI's favor, which is easier, or have the AI make better decisions through strategy via a set of rules, which is harder to program. In Euchre it's all about the game strategy after a deal which is based on luck. Was going to make it four stars but changing to five after writing this and thinking it through!Īlthough the interface is great and the card animations are on point, the AI is too stacked. Some people just sit and boot people constantly stay. It will drive you more insane than that one person you play euchre with in person who doesn’t know what they are doing and you sometimes get stuck being their partner.ģ. The rated game option is nice if you aren’t messing around and want a serious game and then the more personalized option with the unrated is nice sometimes too.ĥ. So, not only is this version a great way to learn the game, it has the harder option which is great for us veterans of the game. In this version, newbies can play at a lower level as they learn to play the game and move up as they advance. All of these things I’ve mentioned are not always available in other versions. Plus, it allows you to choose what level of play you want (easy, medium, hard). This version allows you to throw off if your partner takes the trick (just like in a real game). Sometimes you win an alone hand, and sometimes you get don’t (just like in a real game). Sometimes you win a bid, and sometimes you get set (just like in a real game).
